"Horton Hears a Who" Writing and Craft

I am obsessed with how this little craft turned out!  I was browsing Pinterest and found this Horton craft, created by Tippytoe Crafts!  I used her idea for the craft and then had the students write the sentence: "A person's a person no matter how small!"
Take a look...

The students colored and cut out Horton's trunk, then glued a pipe cleaner and pom pom ball for the flower!

I have really enjoyed reading Dr. Seuss books this week to celebrate Read Across America...he seriously was a genius.  This Horton craft made my week!
